Hank Belden is the assistant of Ellen Laskow. He's also a big fan of Temperance Brennan's books.
He appears in episode 15 of season two. He is introduced at the Jeffersonian Institute as Dr Brennan’s publicists assistant and mentions he is a huge fan of Dr Brennan before getting cut off by the publicist Ellen.
Later in the episode, he is brought in for questioning after Ellen is found dead in the same manner as the third victim of Dr Brennan’s book.
Booth discovers that Belden always carries Ellen’s blackberry which links Belden to one of the victim’s husband. This leads him to the conclusion that Belden was one of the three killers involved in the copy-cat killings of Dr Brennan’s book. Hank used his insulin from his diabetes to render Sadi unconscious and then kill her. The three killers used an online chat forum for thriller enthusiasts who all were fans of Brennan (referred to as Brennanites). All three killers were arrested by Booth.
