The Brother in the Basement is the second episode of the eleventh season of Bones, this episode is the conclusion of the previous episode premiere.
Summary[]
Another layer is added to the mystery of Booth's whereabouts and the state of his physical condition when the team discovers that FBI Agent Miller has not been entirely truthful with the FBI and the Jeffersonian team, keeping vital information from them that could lead them to Booth. Meanwhile, the Jeffersonian gets a surprise visitor, FBI digital forensic scientist Benjamin Metzger, who works with Angela to try to decode the information the team has been able to uncover regarding Booth's location and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. Also, Arastoo makes a major decision that affects his and Cam's personal and professional relationship.

- In the beginning of the episode, Jared Booth briefly was seen. Brendan Fehr did not reprise his role--the actor who briefly portrayed Jared was uncredited. Fehr does appear as Jared in the group photo Booth finds, though.
- The vultures in the scene with Richard and Chloe's bodies, were African White-Backed Vultures, not domestic vultures such as the American Black Vultures, which usually appear with black feathers, jet black bodies, and gray heads.
